Fläkt Woods Americas has received an order through Parsons Energy & Chemicals Group Inc. for Progress Energy Carolinas for 10 Induced Draft Booster fans for Roxboro Units 1 through 4.

Progress Energy is a major supplier of energy in the southeastern part of United States. The fans are used in connection with new flue gas desulfurization systems and will be delivered in 2006 and 2007. The centrifugal fan sizes vary in diameter from 98 inches (2489 mm) to 159 inches (4039 mm) and will have a total installed power of more than 55,000 hp.
