Fläkt Woods has won the “Air Movement Product of the Year” award at the prestigious Heating & Ventilation News Awards for 2005, which were held last week at the London Park Lane Hilton Hotel in the UK.
Fläkt Woods UK entered the ECONET® energy recovery system, which beat off competition from two other products to take the award. Award was presented to Craig MacFadyen, ACE UK Business Development Manager, on behalf of the Company.
The ECONET® for the EU 2000 Air Handling Unit is 50% more efficient than standard run-around-coil systems, and constantly optimises through its control system, ensuring the minimum amount of energy is used to meet the air requirements of the moment. The ECONET® system is delivered pre-piped and pre-commissioned saving a large amount of time and cost on site.
The H&V News Awards are an annual event, which recognise and reward excellence in a broad range of award categories. In addition to receiving an award, Fläkt Woods also sponsored the “Safety Initiative of the Year” award, which was presented by Stephen Carr, UK Country Manager.
