Fläkt Woods introduces a new generation of the regulation and measurement damper Iris Original.The basic idea consisting of regulation plates moving in and out of the flange remains unchanged, but aside from that, the entire construction is modernized and improved.

Fläkt Woods has been manufacturing IRIS for two decades, and during these years continuous efforts have been made to improve its properties in order to increase tightness, lower sound level and facilitate adjustments. The new generation of IRIS is the tightest and most compact series so far.

The most visible change in the new IRIS is position indication, which enables quicker adjustment due to the better view of damper position. Instead of the old solution with position indicating window, the new IRIS will be equipped with position indication that can be read from a distance. The position can thus be checked more quickly and simply.

The new construction also prevents the damper from being turned over the end position. The new position indication clearly illustrates the total range of damper movement, so that it is easy to see just how much the damper can be moved into each direction before it reaches its end position.

The IRIS product range covers sizes 80...800 mm, also available in acid-proof steel sheet, as well as motorized IRIS (sizes 100...315 mm). Installation and adjustment instructions are attached to each damper.
