Fläkt Woods has been awarded an order for 3 outdoor EU air handling units, size 84, with service module. The size of each unit is about 7.5m in length and 6.5m in width including a 2.5m service module. Each unit is delivered in 3 blocks.

The customer, Stora Enso at Kvarnsveden, are a large paper mill based in Borlänge, Sweden. Stora Enso are investing in a new building and paper machine.

Due to the large demands of the paper mill the largest standard EU outdoor air handling units were selected. The customer also needed an easily accessible indoor service possibility and so a 2.5m wide service module was built along the air handling unit. Altogether this resulted in the 3 biggest AHUs ever built at the Fläkt Woods plant in Jönköping, Sweden.

Customer representatives inspected the air handling units on the Jönköping site, after which delivery took place at the beginning of March. The 3 huge air handling units have been installed on the building's roof which is 30 meters from ground level.
