Fläkt Woods, Korea has once again been awarded an order to supply eight large air handling units to a new R&D center of Samsung Electronics.
Each air handling unit will supply an airflow of 73 m³/sec with two of our biggest Centrimaster fans (GXBB-5-140), this in parallel with a 1.3 m Kcal capacity cooling-coil.
Fläkt Woods specially built two parallel EU-84 air handling units to accommodate the large airflow. In this system we also supplied the exhaust fans and UV filters.
The products are for the HVAC system of a 122,000m² R&D center and institute of Samsung’s next generation mobile communication technology. The project will be finalized in March 2005.
Fläkt Woods has been providing air handling units, axial fans, centrifugal fans and HC fans for Samsung’s memory chip, LCD/PDP panel and mobile phone production lines since the mid ‘80s.
