The Fläkt Woods Group has launched a new global web site on 1 September. The new web site reflects the truly global structure of the Group and shows the full range of products and supported application areas - all in one place.

"This new Web site has been developed as a global effort by a large number of individuals in the Group" says Per-Olaf Keitsch, Product Manager for Air Handling Units and Project Sponsor for the New Web.

The Web site will in the first release be a Group web site, but during the autumn the local web sites will be migrated to the new platform. "With the new structure we want to establish a platform where the business units can reach out to their customer segments in their local language with information that is of use in their business." says Lars Sandell, the CIO of the Group.

The Web site will be further enhanced over the next few months with detailed product documentation and other useful information. In addition to the documentation, the Web site will also link into the new configurator tools that Fläkt Woods has launched during the year including the Fan Selector and the AHU selection tool - Acon. In addition to these on-line tools the web site also features all the downloadable stand-alone selection and configuration tools.
