Fläkt Woods, the undisputed global market leader in Industrial Air Movement, embarked upon with a well etched expansion strategy in India. Flakt India Limited also launched the revolutionary new generation Centripal HK Fans in India. This was announced by Mr Patrick Pouliquen, Senior Vice President Global Operations, Fläkt Woods at a Press Conference in Kolkata.
Fläkt Woods is eyeing a larger market share in India with a brand new product and is looking at creating newer markets in addition to aggressively penetrating their existing markets. In the last two years the company has achieved a volume growth rate in excess of 70% compounded annually in India.
“Flakt India Ltd, has, in the process, been able to win back a lot of their old customers. The motto of the company now stands at creating satisfied customers and giving value for money. Flakt India has today, once again, emerged as the clear market leader in their business and is approximately twice the size of their nearest competitor in this crowded and fragmented market segment,” said Mr Carl Sverdrup, Senior Vice President Asia, Fläkt Woods.

Flakt India has two manufacturing units in Chennai and Kolkata. It has offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Baroda, Pune, Chennai and Mumbai.
The ‘Centripal HK family of fans’ is a result of very high level of innovation at the Fläkt Woods Group and takes into account the changing needs of users. The New Generation Centripal HK Fans have been thoughtfully designed and the performance has already been field proven with customers in other countries.
The major concerns of industrial users have been in the areas of space requirements, trouble free operation, noise pollution, natural vibration levels and power consumption. All these aspects of construction design have been admirably and proactively addressed in the Centripal HK series.

The Centripal HK is the first in the series of Product up-gradation.

In order to make this successful and to maintain the quality of the product, the manufacturing unit at Kolkata has been further refurbished with new machinery to get consistency and reliability in every Fan of the Centripal HK family.
