The world of fire safety will benefit enormously from a trading agreement signed between Fläkt Woods, Interactive Ventilation and Fire Engineering Associates.
The innovative contract between industry leaders is a first, and will benefit customers by providing them with a complete package of all they need for fire smoke control systems in buildings, which will include design, product supply, installation and commissioning from a single source.
It covers smoke ventilation schemes in all types of commercial buildings, pressurisation and smoke dilution systems in high rise and multi compartmentalised buildings, and fume and smoke control systems in enclosed and underground car parks, using Fläkt Wood’s world renowned jetfoil ventilation systems.
At the signing of the agreement in Colchester, Neil Yule, Sales & Marketing Director of Fläkt Woods said "This is an agreement that reinforces our already strong working relationship and offers customers a complete solution for all the smoke control systems in the building, including CFD Design, product supply, control systems, installation and project management. Additionally it allows us to combine the global technical development and strengths of Fläkt Woods with the specific smoke control knowledge and flexibility of Interactive Ventilation and Fire Engineering Associates."
Interactive Ventilation Director, David Fenlon added, "We are delighted to be party to this agreement with Fläkt Woods. It is reassuring to know that from now on all those involved in ensuring that buildings are safe, will be able to make just one telephone call to be certain that all their fire smoke control needs will be met."
