Fläkt Woods has a very fishy tale to tell, a three night, two day trip to catch giant cat fish, as a reward to two of its key distributors, JA Glover and SK Sales, for excellent trading results.
Sales Manager Robert Dann took four customers, Gary Mortlock and Graham Slade of JA Glover of Chatham in Kent and Brian Taylor and Jason Kemp of national ventilation specialists SK (Sales) for the fishing trip of a lifetime to chase the massive catfish on the river Ebro in Spain.
A total of 15 catfish were caught, with all customers catching fish in excess of 100lb (approx 7 feet long). The top weight of 132lb went to Brian Taylor, with fishes of 120lb caught by Jason Kemp, 112lb by Gary Mortlock and 102lb by Graham Slade. Robert Dann nearly had a winner at 130lb.
The trip was arranged with top guide Gary Allen of Regency Angling, based in Mequininenza, Spain, who has appeared on several of John Wilson's TV shows filmed on the river Ebro.
