France Air Portugal has achieved total sales of over 4000 JM car park jet thrust fans, this probably equates to 50% of the served market, an amazing feat for a Company that only entered the marketplace three years ago.
Portugal is a unique market for Flakt Woods, when the Company decided to compete for the car park ventilation market, no one could have predicted that their reputation has become so dominant that they now account for such a significant amount of world sales.
The photograph shows Jorge Martins, Marketing Director of France Air Portugal, who recently received an award for reaching the 4,000 sales mark, from Flakt Woods’ Sales and Marketing Director, Neil Yule.
When the Company started in 2002, it sold just 950 units, their standing has grown phenomenally, with a reputation for providing excellent car park venting solutions and the support and advice needed to help consultants understand this new technology.
The success in no small part can be based a dedicated team of individuals such as Jorge and sales development managers such as Henry Dujol, who has become a passionate advocate of the JM car park jet thrust fan and the benefits it brings to car park ventilation. Henry has been particularly successful in developing the concept in European markets, helping to communicate the benefits of jet fans over traditional methods.
"Once customers have seen our unique Computational Fluid Dynamic models that simulate the ventilation patterns they are assured the system will provide a satisfactory and cost effective solution" says Henry.
The jet thrust fan range is designed for high efficiency and thrust, and low installed noise levels. Available as either a unidirectional or a truly reversible fan, they have been developed using the latest aerodynamic and acoustics testing.
JM car park jet thrust fans are ideally suited for use in car parks as they eliminate distribution ductwork, which is needed for traditional ventilation systems. Without ductwork, system resistance can be significantly reduced, which means fan speed and noise levels can be a lot lower, additionally by using detection/control equipment considerable savings can be made in running costs.
