Extensive improvements to the Fläkt Woods car parks website have made it easier to get updated information on the Company’s car park ventilation systems.

Fläkt Woods is the industry leader in enclosed car park ventilation, providing innovative solutions for car parks projects in the UK and around the world.

Access to the site is at www.flaktwoods.com/jet-thrust. It is also available via the main Fläkt Woods site where by clicking on the car park picture customers are immediately redirected to the car park’s site.

Improved navigation means easy access to updated information about the Jet Thrust Fans, applications on pollution, smoke control, and their key features and benefits. For professional to keep up to date, the site also has downloadable news items and the latest literature.

Another innovation is the use of animations and diagrams to simplify and explain the Company’s duct-free Jet Thrust System, which relies on a series of strategically placed Jet Thrust Fans, to control and distribute air efficiently around car parks.

Commenting on the new site, Michel Wizenberg, Applications Engineer said, "As leaders in the field, we listened to what our customers wanted, and redesigned the website to take into account their views. We then invested a considerable amount of time and effort, designing and managing the car parks area of the website to meet their needs and enhance the customer experience".

Technical help on the choice of fan size and profile is also simplified, allowing operators to select the most efficient design to meet their car park’s requirements. Improved customer service is a further addition, through an on-line enquiry form, customers can now get a ‘human voice’ when a Company representative contacts them.

The site also features the DIRIVENT system. This has small nozzles that distribute the primary air optimally throughout the car park to dispel pockets of stagnant air.
