John Morissette Senior Vice President - Air Movement USA (AMU) Member of Executive Team since 2003  Joined Fläkt Woods 2002 Bachelor of Science – Engineering (South Dakota School of Mines & Technology), Mining Engineering Technology (Haileybury School of Mines). Biography John Morissette has logged over twenty years of progressive achievement, primarily in the capital equipment sector. This experience was gained with internationally recognized corporations such as Ingersoll Rand, Teledyne, ABB/Alstom, and now the Fläkt Woods Group. As Fläkt Woods Group Senior Vice President responsible for the Americas, John has executed the turnaround of the heavy duty fan business in Niles MI, as well as the light industrial fan business located in Fairfield OH. This was accomplished through a combination of refocusing the business on optimum market segments, and significant improvements in operational efficiency. Prior to joining Fläkt Woods, John was a Vice President of the Alstom/ABB Air Preheater Company. As a member of the Air Preheater Company Executive Committee, John was responsible for the world-wide milling and pulverizing businesses within Alstom. From 1991 through 2000, John was with the Teledyne Group. During that time, he was located in both Canada and the USA, moving through a variety of management and executive positions, with an emphasis on international business development and general management John is a Canadian citizen residing in the USA.
