He is coming from General Electric where he was Vice President Operations of GE Energy Products Europe and in his last role was, Vice President of GE Oil and Gas Services located in UK (a global profit center of a 250 MEUR sales company and 1000 employees in 8 different countries). He has a tremendous expertise in the areas of Manufacturing, Sourcing, Engineering and Quality. In particular, Patrick implemented lean-manufacturing programs, greenfield industrial investments in Hungary and in China, global sourcing (400 MEUR sourcing volume) with material deflation projects through value analysis and low-cost countries content. Patrick has furthermore deployed 6 Sigma tools in his operations. Complementary in his last assignment, Patrick has gained valuable experience in integration techniques and in structuring global growth platforms with focus on high technical customers expectations in terms of cost, quality and services. Patrick was previously the Industrial Director of Alstom Medium Voltage Switchgear Unit (200 MEUR revenues, 650 employees), where he improved productivity significantly, using Kaizen, TPM, SMED, and 5S. He started his career in 1987 as a Production Engineer at Alstom Transformers France. Through these experiences Patrick has been involved in very diverse industrial products, ranging from standard high volume production to project specific single units as well as services, giving him the right background to embrace the challenges of the wide range of Fläkt Woods products and projects.
