Jan Risén has been appointed new Product Development and Technology Manager for Fläkt Woods Air Climate Europe.
Jan is located at Fläkt Woods’ Sollentuna office, but spends much of his time at Fläkt Woods’ production facilities in Jönköping (Sweden) and Toijala (Finland).
Jan joins Fläkt Woods from Siemens Building Technologies where he has been responsible for the Systems & Solutions business area unit. He has had several roles within Siemens (formerly Landis & Gyr/Landis & Stäfa) including regional manager and contracting manager. He also has a background as an HVAC consultant.
Jan is a board member of the Swedish Energy Government Authority’s new research programme for energy efficiency (CERBOF). He is a member of the Nordbygg fair seminar group. Furthermore, Jan is an initiator of the BIG SE group (BACnet Interest Group Sweden). He was previously also a board member of the VVS Tekniska Föreningen (the Swedish Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
