Mr. Veikko Karner (FW Australia presents the Chilled Beam and assisted by Mr. Allen Wang (FW Taiwan) for local language interpretation.

A seminar with the subject "Energy Saving Program Series 1 - Chilled Beams and Application" was held at Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. A total of 42 people from the HVAC sector, including consultants, project owners, scholars and government sponsored entities attended the seminar.

The presentation was made by Veikko Kärner, assisted by Allen Wang and James Tsai from Fläkt Woods' Taiwan office for local language interpretation.

The seminar was a planned activity following the first order of chilled beams being secured and successfully installed at the Imperial Tobacco Group PLC (ITG) Taiwan Plant. An IQID 180-1 specially arranged in the seminar room derived to a quite enthusiastic discussion.

Aside from the seminar, a local specialist had also been invited to make an academic lecture during the annul meeting of Taiwan Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering Association, which focused on chilled beams.
