Depending on the Nature of the fumes and its composition the exhaust system should be compatible for efficient and quick removal from the work zone. Hazardous fumes in Coke Oven Batteries in Steel Plants need stringent 100% leak proof design of the Blower. Acidic fumes from Chemical Plants need special Material of construction.
