Overview
The cement manufacturing process begins with the extraction of raw materials (rock, limestone, shale, clay). These materials are crushed and then heated. This stage is divided into 5 steps:
- Drying
- Preheating
- Calcining
- Sintering
- Cooling
The process then results in a new product called clinker which will be grounded to make cement. Our fans play an important role in each step of this manufacturing process, which implies hard working condition such as very high dust content or high temperatures.

Axipal BZiThe Axipal® BZi is a range of aerofoil axial flow fans with adjustable pitch angle blade. Its low and medium pressure performance makes Axipal® BZi suitable for all air movement applications with clean, dusty or humid air at temperatures from -20°C to 200°C.

JM AerofoilJM aerofoil® impellers are high-pressure die cast of aluminum and consist of blades, hub and clamp plate. The JM impeller is manually adjustable through the full range of pitch angles. All impeller components are X-rayed using real time radiography, and examined to ASTM E-155, prior to machining to assure casting integrity and quality. Impellers are precision balanced as a fan assembly to minimize vibration levels and assure smooth operation.
