Overview
The glass melting operation uses a wide variety of combustion air and cooling fans in the furnace area. The molten glass is directed to float or sheet glass forming areas which require exhaust and energy recovery systems.
In the process, the fans have the following functions:
- Dedusting
- Air extraction
- Air supply
- Cooling
- Abrasive wear resistance
- High mechanical resistance
- Recycling wheel for tempering
